How long do you cook a corn dog in the microwave

Roommates, sometimes you don't know what they are thinking.  Have you ever walked into your apartment and wondered what that awful smell was, I have, this is one of those stories.  I've been cooking since I was twelve, and so reasonably my roommates come to me for advice.  One time I was asked how to make a corndog by a roommate I will call George, I like to bake my corndog's so I pointed to the oven and told him 20 minutes at 400 degrees, somewhere between 20 minutes and 400 degrees his attention shifted, and all logic left him.  14 minutes later a thick smell started descending on our apartment, instantly my gag reflex became hyperactive as I was coughing trying to breath, in this deadly air cocktail that wafted into the living room.  As I walked into the kitchen I discovered the source of the smell, a black mass in the microwave that used to be a corndog but now resembled nothing known to man.  I was incredulous as George told me that, in his loss of attention and logic, he thought I said to put the corndog in the microwave for 20 minutes.  The aftermath of George's short attention span forcibly scarred a smell and an image in my memory forever.
