Don't Poke the Bear

In honor of veterans day I have decided to post a story about my brother who I respect and look up to very much.  My brother is a U.S. Marine, and for those of you that don't know, that means he is a boss.  My brother has always been strong, and being in the military didn't change that, neither did it change his desire to stay away from alcohol.  Having that desire to stay away from alcohol automatically made him the designated driver.  Dealing with drunk people can be very interesting and I have personally found drunks to be pretty funny at times, mainly because drunks do stupid things.  My brother in response and preparation for being the designated driver, created a list of rules for any passengers in his car, these rules include:

  1. If you are going to throw up tell me so I can pull over the car and you can puke outside of my car.
  2. Don't get touchy feely, if you get touchy feely I will slam your head against the dashboard.
  3. We leave when I say
These are the rules follow them or face the consequences.  Well one my brothers buddies decided to poke the bear and test my brother on rule number 2.  My brother without a seconds hesitation follows through on his threat and slams his buddies head on the dashboard.  His buddy starts freaking out going man why did you do that that hurt, to which my brother's simple reply came rule number 2.

It's good to have fun just don't poke the bear.

  1. I respect those rules. Definitely going to use those in the future.
